AlMuhid became CEO of SAMI in February 2025. A PIF company, SAMI is Saudi Arabia's national defense and security champion. In February 2026, SAMI launched the Saudi-developed HEET armored vehicle program and inaugurated the SAMI Land Industrial Complex, the MENA region's largest integrated land systems facility. The 4.0 industry complex spans 82,000 square meters and can produce up to 1,500 vehicles annually. AlMuhid is also chairman of SAMI Al Salam Aerospace Industries, among others.
