Alnezir assumed his current role in 2023. The Dar Afia group was established in 2007 as a cardiac center, then expanded to a multi-specialty polyclinic in 2014. The new Dar Afia Hospital was launched in 2023 and accredited by CBAHI in February 2025. In January 2026, the hospital launched its preventative health programs, and in March 2026, it expanded its insurance and corporate partnerships. Alnezir is a majority shareholder and is also a cardiology consultant and director of the cardiac catheterization (cath) lab.
