Griffiths became Dubai Airports’ CEO upon its inauguration in 2007. He oversees the operation of Dubai International (DXB), the world's busiest airport by international passenger traffic, and the Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC), Dubai’s second airport. DXB welcomed a record 95.2 million guests in 2025, up 3.1% from 2024, and in H1 2026, it welcomed another 31.5 million, connecting guests to 217 destinations across 99 countries. Before Dubai Airports, Griffiths was the managing director at Gatwick Airport.
