El Sayed joined Al Faisal Holding in 2001 and assumed his current role at ARTIC in 2017. ARTIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding. As of February 2026, El Sayed oversees 30 hotels and resorts, over 8,000 keys, 1,830 residences, and about 100,000 sqm of commercial space spanning 14 cities, including Doha, Cairo, Rome, Istanbul, Berlin, Miami, among others. El Sayed is also chairman of Seldar Holding and a board member of BNF Bank in Malta.
