Haloui was appointed director-general of ONTT in 2025. The ONTT unveiled that for 2025, Tunisia’s tourism revenues were approximately $2.8 billion, a 6.5% increase compared to the year prior, according to the Central Bank of Tunisia. The country also welcomed 11.3 million non-resident visitors in 2025, marking a 10.4% increase.
