Al Katheeri leads Mubadala’s UAE Investments platform, valued at about $77.3 billion across more than 114 companies. Through the platform, in 2025, Mubadala partnered with Masdar and EWEC on a project combining 5.2 GW of solar capacity with 19 GWh of battery storage, designed to supply clean power around the clock. Emirates Global Aluminium’s sales of low-carbon aluminium rose 70% to 196,000 tonnes. Tabreed also grew its connected district cooling capacity by 15% in 2025, while Mubadala’s operating assets' scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions fell 30.9% in the same year. Al Katheeri assumed his role in 2023.
