AMEA Power's portfolio comprised over 2,600 MW of clean power capacity in operation and under construction across 20 countries as of 2025. It also had over 1.2 million tonnes of carbon emissions offset by its operational projects. In May 2026, AMEA Power commissioned its 120 MWp solar PV plant in South Africa, being fully operational and delivering 325 GWh of clean energy annually, avoiding over 330,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. In June, it announced the Amunet II 500 MW wind project in Egypt. Al Nowais founded AMEA Power’s parent company AlNowais Investments, which was founded in 1979. He founded AMEA Power in 2016 and has led it since.
