Orange Egypt sources 44% of its electricity from renewable energy and is expanding solar-powered network sites and technical facilities as it works toward net zero by 2040. Its nationwide circular-economy program has collected more than 3,600 devices through over 40 shops for refurbishment and recycling, while establishing refurbished computer labs in community schools in Upper Egypt. By end-2025, it had sold more than 2,000 refurbished devices. It also hosted the One Circle ICT Reboot Ideathon, supporting 100 circular-economy solutions. Mahran has been with the company since its inception in 1998 and became CEO and managing director in 2025.
