Phimister has been leading PDO, which delivers 70% of Oman’s oil and nearly all of its gas, since April 2021. The company employs 8,900 people and more than 70,000 contractors as of 2020. The company is working with Oman Shell to study Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage opportunities in Oman to support Oman Vision 2040’s goal of energy transition. Phimister previously worked with U.K. oil and gas company Shell for 30 years.
