Khalifa recently became an ambassador of education between Bahrain and Russia, developing a new exchange program for students. She is also an ambassador of the charity organization Smile Train, increasing awareness of kids with cleft palates. The Bahraini-Russian model was crowned Miss Universe Bahrain in September 2022 and competed in the 71st Miss Universe pageant in January 2023, which took place in the U.S.
