El Ghazaoui was appointed chairman of Groupe Al Omrane in May 2023. Groupe Al Omrane was founded in 2007. In May 2022, the group signed an MoU with Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences to construct a university and a care and residential center in Chrafate. In the first half of 2023, the group reported $164.4 million in revenues and had $6.2 billion in total assets.
