THE MIDDLE EAST’S

80. Khansaheb

Established: 1935
Country: U.A.E.
Chairman: Tariq Khansaheb

Khansaheb was founded as a trading and maintenance company in 1935 by Khansaheb Hussain bin Hassan Amad. It helped build the first motor track from Sharjah to Ras Al Khaimah in the same year and the Al Maqta Causeway in 1953, which connected Abu Dhabi to the mainland. In October 2023, Khansaheb partnered with AJI Rentals to use a battery energy storage system to power two cranes on its flagship project, Serenia Living on Palm Jumeirah. This will allow the company to reduce its comparative carbon footprint by up to 85% and is projected to reduce carbon emissions by 128 tons over a year.
