Mohamed Abdallah assumed his current role in 2020 and oversees Vodafone’s international markets in Mozambique, Tanzania, Lesotho, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Vodafone and Maroc Telecom signed an MoU in April 2025 to provide digital services to Moroccan customers, with the first phase focusing on smart city and energy management solutions, expanding the company’s presence to eight African countries. In February 2025, Vodafone announced a partnership with Saudi Arabia-based Mobily to offer IoT connectivity services to customers in Saudi Arabia. Abdallah also sits on the board of trustees for the Vodafone Egyptian Foundation, and he is a board member of the British Egyptian Business Association.
