Nicholson and Rank joined Lockheed Martin in their current positions in 2021 and 2018, respectively. In February 2025, the company signed a letter of intent with the Tawazun Council and the U.A.E. Cybersecurity Council to establish a national Cybersecurity Center of Excellence. It also announced a collaboration with the EDGE Group to advance chiplet design and technology integration and signed a letter of intent to explore further defense cooperation. Nicholson is also a mentor at the U.S. National Defense University and NATO Senior Mentor Program, whereas Rank is a non-resident faculty member of the U.S. Army War College.
