Amin assumed his current position in 2022. He is responsible for the business area of gas services, as well as the China and MEA regions. In May 2025, Siemens Energy signed an MoU with the Iraqi government to launch the Iraq Energy Agenda Wave III, aiming to add 14 gigawatts of power generation capacity to the country’s energy infrastructure. It also signed Long-Term Service Agreements for the Al-Dibs and Al-Musayyibb gas and thermal power plants. Amin was previously CEO of the global Siemens Energy’s global oil & gas unit and senior vice president for services in the MENA.
