Hashem has held leadership roles at Honeywell since 2016. He stepped into his current role in 2024. In December 2024, Honeywell was chosen to provide natural gas liquefaction technology and equipment for ADNOC’s Ruwais LNG project in the U.A.E., which will produce up to 9.6 million tonnes of LNG annually using two all-electric liquefaction trains powered by renewable and nuclear energy. Hashem serves as chairperson of the Energy Committee and is a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, the Egyptian Export Council of Engineering Industries, and Injaz U.A.E. He is also a business practice leader at the AUC School of Business.
