Mapara assumed his current position in 2023, having first joined 3M in 1997. In 2024, 3M opened a new entity in Saudi Arabia, 3M Arabia Advance, and grew the business by over 20% in the Gulf region. Mapara is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Dubai.
