Hamdan joined Zimmer Biomet in 2022 and assumed her current role in 2024. In May 2025, Zimmer Biomet and AZM signed a cooperation protocol with Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population to expand access to advanced orthopedic and prosthetic care across public hospitals. Hamdan previously held senior roles in Becton Dickinson, Medtronic, Abbott, and Novartis Pharma across emerging markets. She is also the sponsor of the Women in MedTech network chapter and a board member for Mecomed.
