Almohanna has been with flynas since 2006 and assumed his current role in 2015. As of May 2025, flynas operated a fleet of 63 Airbus aircraft. It served 14.56 million passengers in 2024, up 32% from 2023. In June 2025, the company completed its $1.1 billion IPO to be the first airline listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul). Almohanna is also the chairman of Nera, a board member of Saudi Air Navigation Services, and a member of the executive committee of the Arab Air Carriers Organization, among others.
