O’Rourke joined Accor in 2016 and assumed his current role in 2023. In Q1 2025, the group reported management and franchise revenues of $77 million and recorded a 4.6% increase in revenue per available room in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific compared to Q1 2024. As of April 2025, the group operated over 350 properties in the Middle East, with plans to add over 140 by 2030. In the past year, Accor expanded its operation in Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., and Egypt. O’Rourke previously served as COO at Kempinski Hotels.
