Ammor has been Morocco’s Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy since October 2021. In 2024, Morocco recorded 17.4 million arrivals and $11.2 billion in tourism revenues. Ammor has overseen the rollout of the Go Siyaha Program, with over 1,000 tourism projects, the launch of Cap Hospitality, the first state-backed loan scheme to modernize 25,000 hotel rooms, and the creation of Morocco’s first tourism project bank with 200 investment-ready templates. She is also a board member for the Mohammed VI Investment Fund.
