Arabiyat has served as managing director of the Jordan Tourism Board since 2004, following its establishment in 1998 as an independent public-private sector partnership to promote Jordan as a tourism destination. In the first five months of 2025, Jordan recorded around 2.7 million international visitors. In February 2025, JTB and Wego partnered to promote Jordan as a premier hub for culture, adventure, and relaxation. Arabiyat was elected chair of the Affiliate Member Executive Council of UN Tourism in June 2024.
