Al-Otaibi has been CEO at Dur Hospitality since 2019 and was appointed CEO of Taiba Investments in January 2024 following a merger of the two companies. As of May 2025, Taiba Investments managed a portfolio of approximately 40 properties, with eight projects in development in partnership with Marriott International, Hilton, IHG, and Accor, among others. In 2024, the company welcomed more than three million guests and recorded $350.7 million in revenues. Al-Otaibi also serves as chairman of the Shada Hospitality Company and is a board member of the Burj Al Madinah Company and the Saudi Hotel Services Company.
