Clasen assumed his role as CEO of Cruise Saudi, a PIF company, in 2022. In December 2024, Cruise Saudi soft-launched Saba Beach on Jabal AlSabaya, its newly developed private island for cruising in the Red Sea. In the same month, its cruise line, AROYA Cruise, initiated its inaugural voyage. Clasen is also the chairman of Red Sea Cruise Management, chairman of the advisory board of Carsten Rehder, and sits on the board of AROYA Cruises.
