Kumar joined Dusit Hotels and Resorts in 2008 and took on his current role in May 2023. The company’s portfolio includes over 300 properties under nine brands operating in 19 countries worldwide. It served over a million customers in 2024. In November 2024, Dusit International and the Saudi Tourism Development Fund signed an MoU to develop multiple projects, including Dusit Princess Al Majma’ah in Riyadh Province. Kumar previously worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance/Marriott Hotels, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, and the Ascott Group. He is also the general manager for Dusit Thani Dubai.
