Ahussain assumed his current role in 2023, having first joined Almosafer as COO in 2016. In May 2025, the company announced a partnership with Miral Destinations to promote Yas Island as a tourist destination among Saudi and Kuwaiti travelers through the Almosafer consumer travel platform. It also signed an agreement with Wyndham Hotel & Resorts in April 2025 to expand its global hotel portfolio to over 9,300 Wyndham properties across 95 countries.
