Vessali became CEO at OHTC when he joined the company in 2017. As of June 2025, the company owned and ran four hotels with 455 keys in Oman. OHTC employs 2,000 people and manages 25 international hotel brands. In 2024, it served 85,000 customers. Vessali previously worked at Oman Air, Lindt & Sprüngli Australia, and the Kellogg Company. He was previously a member of the board for United Finance Company SAOG, National Hospitality Institute Oman, and Muscat Duty Free.
