Karam assumed his current role at Ishraq Hospitality in 2024, overseeing its eight hotels. Ishraq Hospitality was founded in 2007 and acquired as the asset management and hospitality division of the Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group in 2011. Its portfolio includes Holiday Inn Express hotels of the IHG group, as well as Crowne Plaza Deira and Crowne Plaza Dubai Jumeirah. In April 2025, it announced a new strategic partnership with Samco Holding to develop two hospitality projects in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. Karam previously worked as a cluster general manager at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
