In 2024, Tasnee recorded an 8.38% reduction in overall greenhouse gas intensity compared to 2023. It also replaced liquid fuel firings with fuel gas, cutting an estimated 63,400 metric tons of CO₂e annually. The company's advanced solar projects are targeting a 4,747 metric ton CO₂e reduction. It has adopted technologies such as drones, 3D printing, advanced analytics, and AI. Al Fawaz joined Tasnee in 2015 and became CEO in April 2024. He chairs the SAL, Saudi Chemical Holding Company, and is a board member and chairman of the audit committee of Industrialization and Energy Services (TAQA).
