Al Dahak was appointed to her current position in January 2024 and led the U.A.E.’s participation in COP29 in November 2024. In May 2025, she launched the Emirates National Agriculture Conference and Exhibition. She also contributed to the launch of the U.A.E.’s Extended Producer Responsibility scheme, which holds producers responsible for the life cycle of their products to reduce waste, and she led the launch of the U.A.E. blue visa for individuals with exceptional contributions in environmental protection and sustainability.
