Al Zeyoudi has led the newly established ministry since June 2025, following his tenure as Minister of State for Foreign Trade from 2020 to 2025, He also previously served as Minister of Climate Change and Environment from 2016 to 2020. Al Zeyoudi oversees efforts to enhance the U.A.E.’s investment climate. The U.A.E.’s non-oil foreign trade grew by over 24.5% in the first half of 2025, reaching $463 billion.
