In 2025, Sidra Medicine signed MoUs with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Great Ormond Street Hospital to collaborate on pediatric care, rare disease research, education and training. In April, Sidra Medicine was one of the first hospitals in the Middle East to successfully perform neurosurgical Intraventricular Baclofen Therapy. In June, it opened Qatar’s first pediatric Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Ward. Tinubu-Karch has 28 years of healthcare experience, previously serving in various senior clinical roles at Swedish Medical Center, the Department of Veterans Affairs in Seattle, VA healthcare systems, and the University of Washington.
