Incesu joined AstraZeneca in 2000 and has been Area Vice President for the Middle East, Africa since 2020. As of February 2025, she oversees 2,753 employees from 50 nationalities, with 46% female representation. In 2024, AstraZeneca’s Cancer Care Africa program screened 161,750 people, detecting 6,268 early cases and training 13,150 healthcare professionals. Between 2024 and 2025, the company signed over 30 public-private partnerships across the region. Incesu also serves on AstraZeneca’s Global Inclusion & Diversity Council.
