Altamimi assumed his current role in 2018. The cluster operates under the state-owned Health Holding Company, encompassing King Saud Medical City, 17 community hospitals, and 160 primary care centers, with 4,000 beds, 28,000 employees, and seven million patient visits annually. In 2024, RFHC reached 90 accredited postgraduate training programs and graduated more than 2,000 healthcare professionals over the last six years. Its patient-centered care score improved from 69% in 2018 to 82% in 2024. Altamimi also chairs the Manpower Council, Transformation Steering Committee, and Research Development Committee at RFHC.
