Abdel Wareth is a board-certified pathologist and physician executive, serving as CEO of Diagnostics at M42’s Global Patient Care Platform since January 2025. She oversees the National Reference Laboratory, Capital Health Screening Center (CHSC), and Tawam Molecular Imaging Center. In October 2024, M42 announced CHSC’s capacity to conduct 2,000 AI-assisted chest X-rays/day for tuberculosis screening. In April 2025, it announced it will launch the first Centre for Advanced Neuro Biochemical Diagnostics for early detection of Alzheimer disease in the MENA Region. Abdel Wareth is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the College of American Pathologists.
