El Sherbini has served as Group CEO since 2012. IDH operates over 668 branches across Egypt, Jordan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, offering more than 3,000 diagnostic tests. In H1 2025, it reported revenue of $71.4 million, up 42% year-on-year, and net profit rose 19% year-on-year to $11.5 million. In December 2024, IDH acquired a 49% stake in Biolab KSA from Izhoor Holding for $3.2 million, raising its effective shareholding to 79%.
