Elba founded Apex Pharma - Egypt in 1996. In April 2025, the company formed a strategic partnership with Cigalah Healthcare to localize pharmaceuticals in Saudi Arabia, as part of its regional expansion plans. Prior to this, Apex Pharma inaugurated a $80 million factory in King Abdullah Economic City, its first outside of Egypt. APEX Pharma - Egypt secured the fifth place among Egypt’s top-selling pharmaceutical companies in 2024, with a 2.9% market share and sales exceeding $130 million. Elba is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce, and the German-Arab Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
