Dowidar joined e& in 2015 as group COO. He became CEO of the international business in 2016 and Group CEO in 2020. In H1 2025, e&’s revenues rose 23.3% year-on-year to $9.5 billion, while its global subscriber base grew 13.1% year-on-year to 198 million. In 2025, e& launched the $1 billion Sovereign Launchpad with AWS and the U.A.E. Cyber Security Council to ensure data sovereignty, expected to contribute $181 billion to the country’s digital economy by 2033. Dowidar was previously the CEO of Vodafone Egypt.
