Alshamlan became KFH Group CEO in January 2025, before which he was CEO for KFH Kuwait since August 2023. In the first nine months of 2025, it generated net profit of $1.8 billion and reported total assets of $133.6 billion. In July 2025, KFH announced the launch of Ahli United Bank (Bahrain)'s new visual identity and the official change of its name to Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain. Alshamlan also serves as vice chairman of KFH-Capital and is a board member of KNET and Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain.
