Al Shamisi joined the company in 2008, has served as CEO since 2014, and assumed his current position in 2019. AD Ports Group operates an integrated trade, transport, industry and logistics solutions. In July 2025, the group signed a 50-year land lease agreement with Emirates Food Industries to develop state-of-the-art silos at Khalifa Port’s South Quay, a 100,000 m2 facility will have an approximate storage capacity of 150,000 metric tons. In H1 2025, the group reported total assets of $18.3 billion and revenues of $2.6 billion. Al Shamisi also chairs Aramex and MAIR Group, among other firms.
