Al Ramahi joined Masdar in 2008 and assumed his current position in 2016. Masdar developed projects in solar, wind, energy storage, waste-to-energy, and geothermal energy across over 40 countries with a combined capacity of more than 51GW. In October 2025, Masdar closed its acquisition of 49.99% stake in a $427.2 million portfolio comprising four operational solar PV plants from Enel Green Power España. Al Ramahi serves as the Vice-Chair of the Global Council on Sustainable Development Goals for SDG 7.
