Meier joined Jumeirah in 2021, stepping in as interim CEO in February 2024 before being officially appointed CEO in January 2025. Jumeirah is a member of Dubai Holding, operates a portfolio of 31 properties across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa. In December 2024, Jumeirah partnered with the Thanda Group, to launch two new destinations: Jumeirah Thanda Island in Tanzania, and Jumeirah Thanda Safari in South Africa. In March 2025, Jumeirah opened its latest flagship property in Dubai, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. Prior to joining Jumeirah, Meier was the Senior Vice President of Operations in Asia at Minor Hotels.
