Al-Eidan assumed his current position in November 2022. In the FY 2024–2025, which ended in March 2025, the company achieved its highest heavy oil production since operations began in 2020, reaching 95,000 BOPD. During the same period, the company’s revenues recorded $13 billion. Al-Eidan also serves as Chairman of Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) since October 2023. He founded the Society of Exploration Geologists (SEG) – Middle East branch and served as its President from 2014 to 2017.
