Darwish joined the company as a general manager in 2015. In August 2025, Palm Sports-managed MMA team U.A.E. Warriors, was revealed to have extended its partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, to bring the team to Al Ain. Palm Sports, a subsidiary of IHC, also signed a two-year $10.9 million contract with a federal government entity in February 2025, to provide MMA training programs to its employees. For the first nine months of 2025, Palms Sports recorded revenues of $229.3 million. Darwish serves as Chairman of Al Qudra Sports Management, and Vice Chairman of the Institute for Art & Culture in Lahore, Pakistan, among other senior management positions.
