Lamiri founded Lamiri Harissa during the pandemic, using his family’s Tunisian recipe, which his cousin shipped to him. He jarred the harissa in London and initially delivered it by bike across South London. Four years later, the company has over 200 U.K. stockists and recently partnered with an EU distributor. In 2024, it sold over 35,000 units and exports to more than 16 countries, including the U.K., Tunisia, U.S., Canada, Australia, and Kuwait. Lamiri Harissa raised $257,000 in its first funding round.
