Al Abdouli became Group CEO of Marjan in 2018. The company is the developer behind projects such as Al Marjan Island, Marjan Beach, and RAK Central. In October 2025, Marjan and state-run RAK Hospitality Holding merged and created a unified entity operating under Marjan. Al Abdouli also serves on the boards of RAK Properties.
