Aslam founded the Select Group in 2002. As of February 2026, the developer had delivered over 7,000 homes across more than 1,858,000 square meters with 6,000 units in the pipeline, with a combined Gross Development Value (GDV) of over $9.6 billion. In 2025, Select Group entered into a strategic agreement with Dubai Holding to develop projects in Palm Jebel Ali and Dubai Design District (d3) in Dubai. The group also acquired the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai Media City for $59 million.
