Orascom Construction is an engineering and construction contractor focused on infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects across the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S. It is dual-listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), with a market capitalisation of $1.15 billion as of April 16, 2026. In 2025, the company secured $5.6 billion in new awards, including $2.1 billion across the Middle East and Africa, while its consolidated backlog reached $9 billion by December. In March 2026, Orascom Construcfction, in consortium with Aeolus Energy and ENGIE, signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to develop a 900 MW wind farm near Ras Shokeir in the Gulf of Suez.
