Yassin assumed his current role in 2024. In May 2026, UPC signed an MoU to strengthen ongoing collaboration with Hikma Pharmaceuticals in Saudi Arabia, and collaborated with Novo Nordisk on the (Live Lighter) campaign. In February 2026, it completed the full acquisition of Kunooz Pharmacies from GHC and Shafi Pharmacies in Riyadh. Yassin first joined UPC in 2012 and held various roles from marketing manager to vice president and CFO, currently holding a 15% stake in the company. He previously served as CEO of Manayer Najd Medical Company.
