Golbarg assumed his role as COO for Middle East and Africa in January 2026, having been vice-president of operations since 2019. Minor Hotels is the parent company of 12 brands, among them Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Elewana Collection, and The Wolseley Hotels. As of February 2026, Golbarg oversees 38 operating hotels and resorts with 6,972 keys across the region. Golbarg first joined Minor Hotels in Bangkok in 2012. He then held roles with Al Rayyan Hospitality and Katara Hospitality, before returning in 2019.
